Description

To me this looks more like a hand trying to catch Rigel ;-) not so much a witcher's face... but this may be different with different objects in a scenery.

However, this is actually a test image to prove if my measures against exaggerated spikes would work. They are caused by reflections (not diffraction) - I called them "Exo Spikes" - at the spider of this newton telescope (compare the rogue spikes in my Pleiades and Horse Head).

So I chose a "brute force" scenario for the acid test: IC2118 a.k.a. "The Witcher" versus Rigel, a battle between nothing-to-see and over-exposed. In the end, after some pixel-kungfu, I found it looking more interesting than just a "test image" ?

However, Rigel should deliver some serious spikes. But, it didn't! Not at all... :o Not even diffraction spikes. Only medium stars show some...

It wasn't meant to be THIS efficient, though ;-) But, I still have the choice to add spikes if I want with StarSpikes ;-)

So, now I have a APO - LOL!
